Our time is so limited and much of it is controlled by others. I’ve been reading Sahil’s Bloom new book, “The 5 Types of Wealth,” and he focuses a lot on how we view and use our time. It got me thinking about the things in my life that have never failed me. The things I’ve spent time on and never once regretted. The things that I felt better after doing. The things in my life that are undefeated.
Here’s a few things that have proven to be undefeated in my personal life:
showing up for my family
learning when to say no
praying in silence
first cup of coffee
thinking before i speak
active participation in my sons’ hobbies
running trails with friends
dating my wife
inviting others to speak into my life
my opinion of myself
learning from my mistakes & failures
believing in hard work & grace, not luck
male accountability
life-giving relationships
celebrating other’s wins
betting on myself
learning something new
mountains in the fall
silencing the noise of negativity
Now, the trick is to spend as much of my time on these things as possible.
