Here’s What I’ve Been Reading

This is year 6 of tracking what I read, and I’m always surprised by my list … even though I’m the one who read the books!

I used to build out a yearly reading list, but I’ve stopped planning too far in advance.

Instead, I let the content of one book lead me to the next – maybe I liked the topic and want to explore more, or the author referenced a certain author repeatedly and I want to explore the writer.

I started using the Goodreads app this year. I like the app’s ability to create lists for what I’ve read and what I want to read and for its recommended reading feature, which has been really helpful.

Here’s a look at the first half of my year.

– 1 & 2 Thessalonians & Titus Study Series, John MacArthur
– One Man’s Wilderness, Richard Proenneke
– The Intentional Father, Jon Tyson
– Who Not How, Dan Sullivan & Dr. Benjamin Hardy
– Things That Matter, Joshua Becker
– A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23, Phillip Keller
– The Comfort Crisis, Michael Easter
– The 5 Types of Wealth, Sahil Bloom
– How to Be a Great Boss, Gino Wickman & Rene’ Boer
– Non-Food Franchising, Jon Ostenson
– 10x is Easier than 2x, Dan Sullivan & Dr. Benjamin Hardy
– Undeniable, Cam Hanes
– Data, Mark O’Donnell, Angela Kalemis, & Mark Stanley

My standouts so far this year are One Man’s Wilderness, The Intentional Father, Things that Matter, The 5 Types of Wealth, and 10x is Easier than 2x.
